YWCA’s Wine, Women & Shoes
YWCA’s Wine Women & Shoes event was held at the Renaissance Nashville Hotel, where a crowd of 700 enjoyed fine wines and shopping from an array of marketplace vendors selling designer goods.
The fundraiser, which also featured live and silent auction items, benefitted the YWCA’s Domestic Violence Services program, including the Weaver Domestic Violence Center.
Five hundred guests enjoyed the luncheon, where they had a delicious meal with a spring mix salad topped by chicken, pecans, goat cheese, and more. Desserts were flourless chocolate cake and fruit tart.
A huge number of volunteers kept the fabulous event running smoothly. Committee chairs included: Patricia King, Yasmine Mukahal, Laura Williams, Leah Hayes, Gail Soja, Laurie Miller, Eve Hutcherson, and Erin Crawford.
Emcees were Kelly Sutton and Storme Warren.

Cavalier Spaniels St. Patrick’s Party
The Farm at Natchez Trace hosted the Nashville Cavaliers for their St. Patrick’s Day party, with more than 40 Cavalier King Charles Spaniels and their owners and friends attending.
The Farm provided a delicious buffet for humans offering chicken salad, cheeses and crackers, mixed nuts, beer and wine, and more.
And the dogs happily gobbled down some of the healthy treats The Farm carries for sale, including Banana Bites, Salmon Stix, Chicken Strips, Sweet Potato Treats and others.
There was plenty of space for playing in the Woof Club building, which is used for doggie daycare, so it has a large indoor room and a fenced area outside.
The dogs are so sweet-tempered and they loved running around with each other and getting attention from all the adoring humans. No one could resist the joyful demeanor, silky ears and sweet expression of the precious dogs and they were lavished with love.
The Nashville Cavaliers and their pets enjoy a monthly get-together. For more information, email firstname.lastname@example.org or visit the group’s Facebook page.
CF Event at Private Label
Beth and Austin Fabel hosted Shop for CF at The Private Label to benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
The Private Label donated a portion of the night’s sales to CF.
Everyone enjoyed a cocktail buffet offering shrimp, chicken satay, mini quiches, crab rangoons, wontons, cheese and crackers, cookies and cupcakes.
The foundation works to help find treatments and, hopefully, a cure for cystic fibrosis, a genetic lung disorder that affects the pancreas and other organs.
The organization also helps those who have cystic fibrosis live with this chronic disease.
CF is a rare genetic disease found in about 30,000 people in the U.S.
A number of fundraising events for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation are coming up. For more information, call 615-255-1167, email: email@example.com, or visit www.cff.org/Nashville.
