La Bella Notte Patron Party
Nashville Opera Guild held its patron party for La Bella Notte at the Noah Liff Opera Center, where guests enjoyed a Spanish themed evening.
Everyone enjoyed cerviche, olives, and vegetables and dip with cocktails and sangria in the lobby. Then they entered the studio, where tables were dramatically set with black cloths and red roses.
The event featured a performance of passionate Spanish songs by baritone Luis Ledesma and a tango dance exhibition by local artists.
Then the group was amazed by the presentation of two huge pans of paella by Chef Lisa Mays. One of these works of art contained seafood, while the other featured chicken and sausage.
La Bella Notte will be held January 20 at the Hilton Nashville Downtown to benefit Nashville Opera education programs. The evening will offer a gourmet meal, specially selected wines, a silent auction, and arias by the opera’s Mary Ragland Emerging Artists.
