Oak Hill commissioner forum

As the Metro Primary wraps up, the residents of Oak Hill are focusing on their city’s upcoming City Commissioner election. Two of three commission seats are open.

The League of Women Voters is moderating an Oak Hill Commissioner Candidate forum at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 14 at Father Ryan High School, 700 Norwood Drive. All four active candidates will participate: Heidi Campbell, Ron Coles, Wade Hill and Nicole Hobson.

Oak Hill has a manager/commission form of government with an elected board of commissioners which selects the mayor and vice mayor. Oak Hill residents who are registered to vote in Davidson Count are eligible to vote in the election.

Election day is June 10 at the Brentwood Hills Church of Christ, 5120 Franklin Pike. Early voting is May 21 – June 5, at the Metro Office Building, 200 2nd Ave. (Howard School).
