Learning center opens on 21st Avenue

The Learning Lab has announced the opening of its permanent learning center at 2416 21st Avenue South, located between Blair Blvd. and Woodmont Blvd, to provide tutoring and educational services for students in grades K-12.

“Our services go beyond just helping students who are struggling,” Elizabeth Franklin, Director of the new location, said. “We help students who have learning differences, as well as students who have a need for personalized learning.”

The new center will include Gateway Academy, an accredited private school specializing in personalized learning, as well as a full-service assessment center providing psychoeducational evaluations for a wide range of specialized needs.

According to Franklin, the location on 21st Avenue is very convenient for serving West Nashville, but because of the proximity to I-440, the organization can also serve other areas besides just West Nashville.

The Learning Lab’s assessment team includes professionals trained in the fields of clinical psychology, school psychology, and education.
