Grand opening for Hermitage-based elderly care facility draws large crowd

The developers of the Waterford assisted care living facilities have officially unveiled the Waterford in Hermitage, which is now the third facility of its kind open in the metropolitan area of Nashville. It’s close to Summit Medical Center and across from the Hermitage Park & Library on Central Pike.

During the grand opening celebration on December 13 that included Mayor Megan Barry as a special guest, over 100 attendees packed into the entry room that was decorated in a Christmas theme that included a fireplace and shiny leather seating.

The first facility was The Waterford in Bellevue, the second one was built in Smyrna.

“The Hermitage location is great,” City Councilman for District 11, Larry Hagar said as he looked at some of the decorations on large serving tables that presented snacks and deserts in grandiose form.

“The event feels like a celebration. It’s good to see a lot of people who worked on this project here who are seeing the completed vision.”

The Developers of The Waterford Assisted Care Living facilities have 14 years of experience in designing, building and operating licensed facilities in the middle Tennessee area.
