Family Legacy, a Nashville-based funeral, cremation, and cemetery needs company, announced the recipients of their monthly Caregiver Award today. Launched in 2016, the Caregiver Award honors the service of exemplary and dedicated caregivers to patients and families.
Nominations have included hospice staff, family members, nurses, volunteers, and social workers.
“The Caregiver Award recipients are extraordinary people,” said Michell Price, Community Outreach Director at Family Legacy. “Their work is more than skilled support; it’s done with dedication, compassion, and love at a difficult time of life for patients and families.”
Family Legacy recently celebrated one year of Caregiver Awards with a luncheon to honor the 2016 recipients.
Caregiver Award honorees are: Laurel Bowman of Adoration Hospice, Tammy Bledsoe of Alive Hospice, Rick Applegate of The Hearth at Hendersonville, Sharon Robinson of Caris Hospice, Lisa Yates of At Home Health Care, Cathy Taylor of Alive Hospice, Amber Woodward of Caris Hospice, Kim Mullins of Guardian Hospice, Carol Patterson of All About Care and Alive Hospice, Alton Cantarutti, Boyd Nash, and Anita Williams.
