Former Congressman Bob Clement reception and book signing at chamber meeting

The Donelson-Hermitage Chamber of Commerce welcomed former U.S. Congressman Bob Clement for a book signing and reception on September 21, 2017. The event was held at CedarStone Bank –  Donelson Branch.  In his book, “Presidents, Kings, and Convicts: My Journey from the Tennessee Governor’s Residence to the Halls of Congress,” Clement narrates the shaping of his life as a moderate Democrat growing up in the 1950s South and provides insight on the current crisis situations in the Middle East and around the world.  Clement was elected Representative to the 5th Congressional District of Tennessee in 1988 and served until 2003, a total of eight terms.

Those attending the event included Mary Clement, State Representative Darren Jernigan, MNPS Board Chair Anna Shepherd, CedarStone President and CEO Bob McDonald, CedarStone Relationship Manager Willie McDonald, Andrew Jackson’s Hermitage President and CEO Howard Kittell, Anne Martin of       Bone McAlester Norton, and Rhonda Sides of Crosslin.”
