Nashville is the largest city in the path of the 2017 solar eclipse, occurring on Monday, August 21. It’s the first total solar eclipse to take place in the United States in 99 years.
The eclipse begins at 11:58 a.m. with the maximum eclipse happening at 1:28 p.m.
Thousands of people will make their way to Music City to see the spectacle in-person.
To accommodate, many places are hosting special viewing parties for the once-in-a-lifetime event.
