Avenue Bank
Avenue Bank announced the addition of two new team members, Harris Jordan and Lauren Peck.
Jordan is a new concierge banker in Cool Springs. He is a 2008 graduate of the University of Tennessee in Knoxville with a B.B.A. in finance. He previously served as an intern in the Private Client/Wealth Management group with Morgan Keegan & Co. in Memphis.
Peck is a concierge banker at the bank’s Green Hills Branch. She is a 2005 graduate of Lipscomb University and most recently was the retail coordinator at Belle Meade Country Club. Prior to that, she was the owner of The Grove Boutique in Nashville.
Saint Thomas
Saint Thomas Health Services announced the promotion of Kim Dishman Parham, RN, BSN, CBPN-IC, to the position of cancer support program director.
Since 2007, she has served as the nurse manager for the Saint Thomas Health Services’ Center for Breast Health.
Parham’s responsibilities will include the Breast Nurse Navigation Program, which she started, complementary medicine and all patient support programs for the cancer and support centers of Saint Thomas Health Services.
Previously, Parham served as the education and outreach coordinator at Nashville’s Susan G. Komen affiliate. In March 2010, Parham was awarded certification as a “Certified Breast Patient Navigator in Imaging and Cancer” from the National Consortium of Breast Centers.

Siloam Family Health Center has announced the election of seven new members to the Board of Directors:
Derek Bell, president of consulting firm Mosaic Trust and a pastor at Fellowship Bible Church in Brentwood.
Veronica Gunn, M.D., chief medical officer at Tennessee Department of Health.
Nancy Lea Hyer, associate professor at Owen Graduate School of Management, Vanderbilt University.

Tenn. Justice Center
The board of directors of the Tennessee Justice Center has elected its officers for 2010-2011: Chair Cynthia R. Wyrick, shareholder with Ogle, Gass & Richardson, PC; Vice Chair David P. Cañas, shareholder with Harwell Howard Hyne Gabbert & Manner PC; and Treasurer Vic Alexander, CPA, ABV, CFF, chief manager of Kraft CPAs, PLLC.
Wyrick concentrates her practice on personal injury, medical malpractice, worker’s compensation, wills and estates and family law. She is a member of the board of governors of the Tennessee Bar Association (TBA) and chair of the TBA Programs Committee. Wyrick is a 1990 graduate of the University of Tennessee with a B.A. in political science. She received her J.D. from the University of Tennessee’s College of Law in 1994.
Cañas represents clients in commercial litigation, dispute resolution and bankruptcy matters. He serves on the board of directors of the Mid-South Commercial Law Institute and is a member of the Access to Justice Committee of the Tennessee Bar Association. He is a member of the Nashville Bar Association, American Bar Association and Nashville Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. He received his J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Tennessee in 1994 and was a member of the Tennessee Law Review and served as a student materials editor. Cañas received his B.A. in political science from Vanderbilt University in 1989.
Alexander has served as chief manager at Kraft CPAs since 1993. He has extensive experience in litigation support and business valuation. He is past chairman of the Tennessee State Board of Accountancy and a member of the American Institute, Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA) and Institute of Management Accountants. Alexander graduated from David Lipscomb University in 1982 with a B.A. in accounting. He is accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and is certified in Financial Forensics (CFF).
Hope Clinic
Hope Clinic for Women announced Earl Burns as male/parent coordinator. His major duties will include facilitating and overseeing male counseling and parent counseling. Burns will also assist with the prevention team by helping create prevention curriculum, organizing workshops and supporting groups.
Hope Clinic offers counseling for men facing unplanned pregnancy with their girlfriend/partner. Understanding the concerns, thoughts and feelings that men face after finding out about an unplanned pregnancy, Hope Clinic offers information, counseling and more in order to provide support for everyone involved.
Burns has been with Hope Clinic since 2007. He volunteered as a counselor to the male clients that came in with their partners/spouses. He has mentored and worked with local youth groups and taught workshops on “True Biblical Love.”
Susan G. Komen
The Greater Nashville Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure has announced that Tina Hamilton has been promoted to chief development officer. Previously, Hamilton was development director.
Stacey Parker-Nelson has been named director of education. Previously, Parker-Nelson was a resource navigator for Windsor Medicare Extra.
Kaleigh Cantrell Black has been named development associate. Previously, Black worked in the medical field.

Shared Health, Inc. has named health care industry veteran and Nashville resident Justin L. Neece chief operating officer.
Neece oversees the sales and marketing, finance, client services, legal, security, privacy, compliance and risk management and contract management functions for the company.
A progressive executive, he has more than 20 years experience in the health care, automotive and retail industries.
Prior to joining Shared Health, Neece held a variety of leadership roles in optimizing operational performance, evaluating business financial strategies, guiding large capital expenditure projects, and running multi-location operations.
