Justin Stephenson has joined the preconstruction team at Crain Construction, Inc.
Stephenson has worked in the construction industry in the Washington, D.C. area and in Nash- ville as an estimator, office engineer and a project engineer on park- ing garages, office buildings, institutional and health care facilities ranging from $20 million to $100 million. He holds a bachelor’s degree in construction management from Brigham Young University.
Crain Construction provides design/build, sustainable construction, construction management and general contracting services throughout the South-east.

Meg S. Casey (Senior Litigation Attorney) advises clients on complex business litigation, including matters involving breach of contract and managed care disputes. Casey earned her law degree from the University of Louis- ville Brandeis School of Law (2011) and received her undergraduate degree from the University of Kentucky (2004).
Jeanne Marie Evans (Associate) provides healthcare regulatory counsel as it relates to compliance, operational and transactional matters. Prior to joining Bass, Berry & Sims, Evans was an associate at Kutak Rock LLP in Missouri where she provided regulatory guidance to healthcare clients. Evans earned her law degree from Saint Louis University School of Law (2015) and received her undergraduate degree from Loyola University (2012).
Meri B. Gordon (Senior Litigation Attorney) represents clients in connection with various healthcare dispute matters, focusing on managed care litigation and healthcare fraud and abuse matters. Prior to joining Bass, Berry & Sims, Gordon practiced in the New York office of Simpson, Thacher & Bartlett, LLP. Gordon earned her law degree from the University of Mississippi School of Law (2004) and received her undergraduate degree from Southern Methodist University (2001).
Travis Tipton (Associate) counsels clients on corporate and securities issues including mergers and acquisitions, capital markets transactions, and securities regulations matters and filings. Tipton earned his law degree from the University of Pennsylvania Law School (2016) and received his undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt Univer-sity (2012).

Fisher Brown Bottrell Insurance, Inc. has hired J.B. Ruble as a business insurance consultant. Ruble will operate out of the agency’s Nashville office, which launched as Fisher Brown Bottrell’s first Tennessee location in 2014. He will provide middle market companies with customized solutions and value-added services.
Prior to joining Fisher Brown Bottrell, Ruble served as managing partner and principal agent for SETCO Insurance Services, LLC, a leading professional title services provider in Destin, Florida. In that role, he developed many client relationships via a referral pipeline from SETCO. He offered guidance on property and casualty insurance and represented SETCO’s partner insurance agency, Acentria. Ruble also has broad experience in commercial insurance, with past positions as commercial insurance consultant for New Orleans agency J. Everett Eaves (formerly Whitney Insurance Agency), as well as commercial accounts manager for Coastal Insurance located in Walton County, Florida. He began his career in construction materials sales in the Florida Gulf Coast.
A native of New Orleans, Ruble earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Oklahoma. He holds the Accred- ited Advisor in Insurance designation (AAI) from the Amer ican Institute for Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters.

The Lipman Group Sotheby’s International Realty recently welcomed Woody Jackson to the team as a broker associate.
A native Tennessean, Jackson grew up in the historic Leiper’s Fork area of Williamson County. He has countless connections and vast resources throughout Middle Tennessee, and he is passionate about securing unique sales for clients in the ever changing market.
As a certified land specialist, Jackson currently has more than 6,000 acres under contract in Middle Ten- nessee and Southern Kentucky. Not only does he help clients find residential properties, he encourages prospective buyers to consider larger tracks of land as well. Jackson enjoys assisting clients in areas such as financing and credit issues, home inspections, appraisals and land surveys.
Prior to joining The Lipman Group Sotheby’s International Realty, Jackson was an affiliate broker at Mossy Oak Properties and then EXIT Real Estate Solutions.
Metro Nashville Public Schools
Ameerah Palacios is now the program manager for the Academies of Nashville within Metro Nashville Public Schools. In her role, she will coordinate district level communication, events and programs that support the Academies of Nashville and will act as a liaison with the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce, Alignment Nashville, the PENCIL Foundation, Ford Next Generation Learning and many other stakeholders to build and sustain business and community engagement. Previously, she was the interim external communications manager for MNPS. In addition to bringing a decade of experience in communications, public relations and marketing, Ameerah’s work has won awards from the U.S. Small Business Administration and the Public Relations Society of America. Ameerah has a master of business administration degree from The College of Saint Rose in New York and a bachelor of arts degree in mass communication from Western Kentucky University.
