MP&F Public Relations
MP&F Public Relations has hired Kelli Clayton and Maggie Fohner as the firm’s newest graphic designers, Kelly McGahee and Jennifer Stilwell as the firm’s newest staff associates, and Hayley Shovlin as an administrative assistant.
Kelli Clayton is a Bay St. Louis, Miss., native and graduated summa cum laude from Mississippi State University in May 2017 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in graphic design.
Prior to joining MP&F, Clayton was a graphic design intern at Blufish Design Studio, where she gained experience in branding and advertising. She was also a design intern for Joey the Cat’s Arcade Warehouse in San Francisco, Calif., where she designed everything from photo booths to a comprehensive brand book for the company.
Maggie Fohner is from Springdale, Ark., and graduated from the University of Arkansas in May 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in visual design and a minor in marketing.
Prior to joining MP&F, Fohner worked for the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum as an in-house graphic designer. She worked on a variety of projects, from advertising campaigns, museum educational materials and annual reports to branding exhibits, which included museum panels, room design and exhibit collaterals.
Kelly McGahee is a native of Augusta, Ga., and graduated from Georgia Southern University in December 2016 with a Bachelor of Science degree in public relations and minor in French.
McGahee completed an internship with MP&F in summer 2016 and with Georgia Southern Athletic Department in fall 2016. While at Georgia Southern, McGahee served as president of the French National Honor Society and Pi Delta Phi. She was also an active member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority, where she served on the executive board as house chairwoman, new member coordinator and risk management executive.
Jennifer Stilwell, a Charleston, West Va., native, moved to Nashville after graduating magna cum laude from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Arts degree in public relations and a minor in international studies and event planning.
During her time at UA, she completed several communications internships, including one with The Capstone Agency, a student-run PR firm on UA’s campus. Stilwell was an active member of Phi Mu and the Public Relations Student Society of America.
Hayley Shovlin, a Nashville native, graduated from MTSU where she studied social work and philosophy.
At MP&F, Shovlin is responsible for a number of administrative and operational duties. Prior to joining the MP&F team, Shovlin worked for Preston Taylor Ministries. She also completed internships in Chicago, where she worked with Metro Achievement Center and Aid for Women.
