Cumberland Trust is pleased to announce the promotions of C. Runcie Clements, IV and Michelle R. Diamond, as well as the addition of Lisa C. Torch, Jonathan Thomaston, Coleman Kimbrough, and Gabriele Svigelj to their Nashville team.
Clements, IV has been promoted to Executive Vice President and General Counsel. He joined Cumberland Trust in 2002 and advises the fiduciary legal department, the fiduciary compliance department, the administration department, and the special assets ad- ministration group and manages corporate governance matters. Prior to joining Cumberland Trust, Clements was the Charitable Giving Counsel for the American Cancer Society where he advised nationwide staff on legal and tax issues in the areas of planned giving, outright gifts, and other charitable giving arrangements. He has also worked in a private legal practice in the areas of estate planning, taxation, and real estate. Clements is a licensed attorney and CPA.
Clements is a graduate of Baylor University with a B.B.A. in Accounting. He received his J.D. from Vanderbilt University.
Michelle R. Diamond was promoted to Executive Vice President and Director of Business Development and Regional Markets. Diamond joined the Cumberland Trust team in 2001, at the firm’s founding. She manages the business development team and is responsible for overseeing all new trust opportunities. Prior to joining Cumberland Trust, she was a Trust Officer at First Tennessee providing account and administration support to families in the areas of personal trust, employee benefits, and investment management.
Diamond holds a B.A. in Business Administration from Hanover College in Hanover, Indiana. She was awarded the Certi- fied Trust and Financial Advisor Designation (CTFA) and is a graduate of Cannon Trust School, through Cannon Financial Institute.
As Vice President and Special Assets Officer, Lisa C. Torch will be working primarily in the ongoing administration of special assets such as commercial or residential real estate, closely held business interests, insurance policies and promissory notes. Her duties include coordinating the purchase and sale of properties held in trust, ordering and analyzing appraisals, and overseeing the management of special assets and properties held in trust.
Previously, Torch worked in Atlanta, Georgia for Reliance Trust Company, as an Investment Portfolio Manager overseeing over $1 Billion in Trust Assets. She received her MBA from Pace University in New York City and completed a residency at the NASBIC Venture Capital Institute, receiving a certificate in deal structuring and valuation. She is a graduate of ABA’s Trust School and was awarded the Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA) designation from the Institute of Certified Bankers. She is a member of the National Trust Real Estate Association.
Joining the Estate Administration Division as a Trust Officer is Jonathan Thomaston. He will focus on helping families in the administration of estates and administrative trusts, making sure that the client’s final wishes are carried out. Prior to joining Cumberland Trust, Jonathan served as Chief Law Clerk for Williamson County Circuit and Chancery Courts.
Thomaston received a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. During his time in law school, Thomaston was a member of Transactions: The Tennessee Journal of Business Law. Jonathan is licensed to practice law in Tennessee and is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association, where he is active with the Young Lawyers Division and the Estate Planning and Probate Section, as well as the Nashville Bar Association.
Coleman Kimbrough has joined Cumberland Trust’s legal team and serves as Assistant Fiduciary Counsel. In this role, he reviews and drafts documents relating to incoming and transferring trusts. Originally from Memphis, Kimbrough previously worked as a law clerk for Teresa R. Hurst, Attorney, and for The Burgoyne Law Offices.
Coleman received a B.A. in Political Science and Philosophy from Mississippi State University (magna cum laude) and earned his J.D. from the University of Memphis School of Law (magna cum laude). He is licensed to practice law in Tennessee and is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association.
A native of Cleveland, Ohio, Gabriele Svigelj is a new hire in the Administration group. As a trust administrator, Svigelj is responsible for managing and maintaining the administration of personal trust accounts. He works with families and beneficiaries to help them better understand their trust. Prior to joining Cumberland Trust, Gabriele worked as an intern for Meister Media Worldwide, an international agricultural publishing firm in Willoughby, Ohio.
Svigelj earned a B.S.S. (Bachelor of Specialized Studies) from Ohio University, Athens with concentrations in Econom- ics and Communication Studies.

EXIT Realty Diversified is pleased to welcome Tom Krey, Kristyn Lockwood and Nancy Wilson to the team.
Tom Krey originally retired and then decided he was tired of staying home and missed real estate. Krey came back to EXIT Realty Diversified to share all of his his 27 years of experience in being in real estate.
He attended Cornell University and his work background has been in retail, wholesale and corporate sales for many years.
Krey had over 600 transactions and was a Certified Instructor for the State of Wisconsin for 6 years. Krey and his wife Maria, who is a mortgage lender, moved to Nashville in 2008.
Kristyn Lockwood will assists in helping buyers and sellers buy, sell or invest in real estate in the Middle Tennessee area including Franklin, Brentwood, Spring Hill, Nashville and Southern Nashville area.
Nancy Wilson owns her own custom embroidery business. She has worked in real estate for 15 years. Prior to this, she worked in management with various real estate offices. She has also worked in the mortgage business as well as a receptionist, processor and closer.
