In this capacity, Corley will advise companies, organizations and associations related to state legislative and regulatory issues and advocate on behalf of clients to help entities achieve their strategic business objectives.

Prior to serving in this capacity, Corley worked as an associate in the firm’s Corporate & Securities Practice Group. Corley received a J.D. from the University of Tennessee College of Law (2012) and a B.S. from the University of Tennessee at Martin (2009).

Corley joins the firm’s Government Advocacy & Public Policy practice, working with the team to represent clients in their business relationships with the agencies of state government, from the General Assembly to the many executive branch departments, agencies, boards and commissions.

As a realtor and affiliate broker, Cook serves the real estate needs of buyers and sellers in and around Williamson, Davidson, and Rutherford counties. She specializes in residential real estate with a focus on helping first time home buyers, those looking to relocate, and empty nesters.

Prior to joining Crye-Leike, Cook worked in key account management and sales management in the consumer goods industry for over 17 years. Most recently, she was employed with Transpac.

Cook is a member of the National Association of Realtors, Tennessee Association of  Realtors and Williamson County Association of Realtors.

LBMC

McLaren is a highly accomplished healthcare leader and licensed nursing home operator with more than 25 years of experience with a focus in post-acute care finance and operations, health information technology, post-acute medical groups and post-acute network strategy. In his new role at LBMC, he will focus on post-acute care, working with providers to effectively respond to strategic, regulatory and reimbursement challenges. McLaren will also work with hospitals to develop post-acute care network strategies.

Prior to joining LBMC, McLaren served as founder and president of healthcare consulting company Danshire Health-care. In that role, McLaren developed and provided implementation strategies for nurse practitioner programs in post-acute care settings, and consulted with post-acute care companies in the areas of turnaround management, liability and asset protection, operational improvement and capital restructuring. McLaren also created an innovative medical model for post-acute care centers.

Tennessee Association of REALTORS®

In this key position, Farrar will help to advance the Association’s strategic priorities in governmental affairs, including legislative advocacy and member engagement in the important work of protecting the rights of property owners throughout Tennessee.

Farrar, a Nashville native, loves all things Tennessee. A graduate of Middle Tennessee State University with a bachelor’s in public relations, she most recently worked for the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development as a Public Information Officer, contributing to numerous projects involving special events for the Governor and Commissioner. She also served as a media representative for the department. She enjoyed the political aspects of her job and the ability to interact with some of the state’s most influential leadership.

The Tennessee Association  of REALTORS® is the largest trade association in the state. Chartered by the National Association of REALTORS® in 1920, TAR consists of 21 local associations and more than 24,000 members to whose success it is dedicated. The Heimerdinger Foundation

Screen shot 2017-02-01 at 2.08.21 PMThe Heimerdinger Foundation, a nonprofit organization providing nutrient-rich meals and education, free of charge, for families facing cancer, announces Katharine Ray as new Executive Director. As executive director, Ray will play an integral role in the strategic leadership of the organization. In addition, she will be responsible for all daily operations including overseeing staff and volunteers. Ray will also direct all fundraising and marketing efforts while working closely with the organization’s board of directors.

Most recently, Ray served as the Director of Communications & Brand for Vital Options International and, previously, as Director of Communications & Marketing for PearlPoint Cancer Support. In 2013, her PearlPoint team was awarded both the PR News Nonprofit Marketing Campaign Award and the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Nashville Parthenon Marketing Award for their 2012 Celebrate Minnie’s Legacy Campaign. She was named a 2013 Nashville Business Journal Chief Marketing Officer finalist in the nonprofit sector.

Ray has long been active serving in the community and beyond as a volunteer and contributor to numerous cancer nonprofit organizations, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, and the Tennessee Cancer Control Coalition, and has served in numerous volunteer leadership roles within Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools and the Cumberland Valley Girl Scouts.

The Heimerdinger Foundation, founded in 2011, provides nutritious, organic meals and education, free of charge, for families facing cancer. Since its inception, the organization has served over 34,000 meals to clients and their caregivers in Davidson and Williamson counties and educated hundreds of volunteer adults and teens about proper, healing nutrition for life through its Meals 4 Health & Healing organic garden, kitchen, and meal delivery program.

In her new role as director of marketing, Jackson will focus on maintaining strategic relationships and will work closely with Nelson Book authors to develop and execute critical marketing initiatives to ensure success.
Jackson comes to Nelson Books from the music industry, working in marketing at both EMI Gospel and Motown Records. Most recently, Jackson served as director of marketing for Motown Record’s gospel division.

Jackson holds a Masters of Business Administration from Auburn University.
