Baker Donelson announces the arrival of Dawn M. Maruna to the Firm’s Nashville office.
Maruna joins as an associate in the Firm’s Commercial Transactions and Business Counseling Group where she concentrates her practice on regulatory compliance, vendor management and general corporate transactions for tech, financial services, health care and hospitality companies. As a member of Baker Donelson’s Data Protection, Privacy and Cybersecurity Group, she routinely advises on privacy, security and records management, cybersecurity, e-commerce, software and content licensing, and general commercial and professional services contract issues, especially as they relate to product and website launches, licensing disputes and privacy and security program development. Maruna formerly worked as an insurance coverage litigator for catastrophic manufacturing, construction, hospitality, energy and aviation matters and as an information technology generalist and manager. Prior to joining Baker Donelson, she served as in-house technology and corporate counsel for a Southeastern bank of the U.S. Farm Credit System.
A graduate of St. John’s University School of Law, Maruna has been listed as a “Rising Star” in New York City Metro Area Super Lawyers since 2014 and is the founder of an equal access to justice initiative that serves multilingual legal clients. She is currently licensed to practice in New York and New Jersey and registered to practice in Tennessee.

Bridgestone Americas, Inc. (Bridgestone) has announced two promotions, Stefano Mezzabotta who has been named Chief Information Officer (CIO) for Bridgestone Americas and Bridget Neal who has been named president of the Off-the-Road tire business, Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations (BATO).
Stefano will be based in Nashville and will report to Bill Thompson, Chief Operating Officer, Bridgestone Americas.
In this role, Mezzabotta will be responsible for leading and overseeing the vision, strategy and operations of the Bridge- stone Americas Information Tech- nology (BSA IT) department throughout North and South America. He will provide strategic IT leadership and direction for all Bridgestone Americas business units and functions and deliver technology solutions that help power our businesses and drive innovation and operational excellence throughout the organization. Rob Olds, who has concurrently served as Acting CIO since October 2016, will return to his role as Executive Director of IT Business Strategy and Governance for Bridgestone Americas.
Mezzabotta is a global technology executive with nearly 30 years of experience. He joins Bridgestone most recently from Procter & Gamble, where served as Director, Global Business Units – Global Shared Services and Information Technology, leading IT and Shared Services for four Global Business Sectors across 17 different product categories. Prior to his move to the U.S. in 2007, Stefano had been the CIO for Procter & Gamble Western Europe, based in Geneva, Switzerland.
Mezzabotta earned his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Ancona, Italy. Additionally, he was a member of the Naval Academy in Livorno, Italy where he served as a Navy Officer.
As president, Neal will lead all aspects of the Bridgestone OTR tire business in North America, including strategic planning, product and technology introductions, sales and engineering. She will be responsible for aligning the company’s go-to-market strategies with the broader commercial portfolio, while also helping drive coordination for the Bridgestone OTR business globally.
Neal joined Bridgestone in August 2002 as a supply planning and sourcing engineer. During her tenure, she has held roles of increasing responsibility within the company’s commercial tire business, including commercial supply chain manager; manager of distribution programs for Bridgestone Bandag retread systems; account executive for original equipment commercial truck and bus tires; and general manager of original equipment and government sales for the truck and bus business. She was promoted to her current position as director, OTR tire sales, in 2015.
Neal earned a bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Brad Snyder has joined Civil Site Design Group as a graduate engineer. Snyder prepares designs, reports, plans and submittals and performs calculations pertaining to site development. He is a member of one of Civil Site’s design teams with other graduate engineers, professional engineers and a principal.
Snyder is a 2016 magna cum laude graduate of Ohio State University with a bachelor of science in civil engineering. He was previously an intern with Thomas & Hutton in Savannah, Georgia. When he is not working, you can find Brad skiing on the area lakes. Originally from Montpelier, Ohio, he lives in Midtown Nashville.

Stuart Dill, Vanderbilt University Medical Center’s (VUMC) entertainment industry liaison since 2015, has been named director of the newly created Office of Engagement.
As director of Engagement, Dill will continue his work with the entertainment industry and will serve as the institutional leader focusing on internal and external community engagement, including new strategies to build upon VUMC’s philanthropic mission.
The new role creates additional opportunities for Dill to develop and strengthen partnerships between VUMC and the entertainment industry, which includes professionals in music, athletics and the performing arts.
Since joining VUMC, Dill has strengthened the Medical Center’s relationship with the entertainment community, who in turn has made several significant gifts toward the Growing to New Heights fundraising campaign supporting the addition of four floors of new space to Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt. He has engaged notable celebrities to participate in VUMC’s programs and activities.
Prior to joining VUMC, Dill was a 30-year music industry veteran, serving as an artist manager on Nashville’s Music Row. During his career in the entertainment industry he managed artists including Minnie Pearl, Freddy Fender, Dwight Yoakam, Jo Dee Messina, Rodney Crowell, The Wreckers, Sister Hazel, Laura Bell Bundy, Point of Grace, Billy Ray Cyrus, and many others.
Originally from Mobile, Alabama, and a graduate of The American University in Washington, D.C., Dill has been a resident of Nashville since 1984 and is founder of Dill Management Group. He began his career in Nashville penning comic material for Minnie Pearl, Ray Stevens and Jerry Clower. He has also been involved in organizing several music festivals including WestFest, Texas LIVE and Country Gold and is co-creator of the Music & Miracles Superfest.
He has served as chairman of the board of Brentwood Academy, is a board member of the T.J. Martell Foundation, and is a longtime member of the CMA, ACM, NARAS and Leadership Music. Dill has been married to Maral Missirian-Dill for 31 years and together they have two grown children.
