The Andrews Agency is pleased to announce two new additions to the team. Stephanie Verheyen has joined the agency as digital marketing manager and Maddie McGarvey as an account services associate. Their client work includes social media, public relations and marketing initiatives in the tourism, real estate, restaurant and luxury retail industries.
Verheyen graduated from Wake Forest University with a bachelor’s in psychology and Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Management with a master’s in marketing. During graduate school she was the first social media intern for Morph Hospitality Group, the umbrella for Chauhan Ale & Masala House, Tánsuŏ, and The Mockingbird Nashville. She also completed a marketing internship with G7 Entertainment Marketing, a local experiential marketing agency. After graduation, Verheyen worked as the inbound marketing strategist for a local Health & Wellness startup, managing blog and e-mail and contributing to overall marketing strategy and promotional tactics. Her additional experience includes working as an event & communications coordinator for the Owen School, a production runner for NBC Sports, the market research liaison for Nashville Oktoberfest, and a brand ambassador at various local events.
McGarvey is a recent alum of Ball State University in Indiana, where she graduated summa cum laude with an honors degree in public relations and marketing. Throughout college, Maddie gained experience within public relations, fund- raising and event planning. Some of her most notable experiences include assisting in event coordination for the Cincinnati Reds Hall of Fame and Museum, such as the 2015 MLB All-Star Game, Pete Rose’s Hall of Fame Induction and the Tony Perez Statue Project. With a passion for nonprofits, Maddie has volunteered her time and experience to benefit organizations such as United Way, Make-A-Wish Foundation and Miracle Network Dance Marathon. She currently serves on the event planning committee for the Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault Center of Rutherford County.

Adams and Reese Nashville attorney Rocklan “Rocky” William King, III was recently named partner, back on January 1.
King joined Adams and Reese in 2013 and his practice focuses on complex litigation including business and tort disputes. He has successfully represented clients and corporate entities in a wide array of litigation matters and disputes ranging from product liability litigations, commercial contract disputes, labor and employment disputes, and health care matters, including fraud investigations and health care liability litigations.
In addition to his litigation practice, King also serves as regulatory counsel to his clients providing guidance regarding the STARK Act, Anti-Kickback Statute, Americans with Disabilities Act and the Fair Labor Standards Act. King graduated from the University of Tennessee in 2004 and completed his J.D. from George Mason University School of Law in 2007.

MP&F Public Relations has launched a new integrated marketing service line and has named Knight Stivender as its first director of integrated marketing.
Stivender, who most recently was with Alcott Marketing Science, has more than 20 years of experience in communications. Before joining Alcott, Stivender was an award-winning journalist and editor of engagement and digital at The Tennessean. She also served as general manager of the paper’s 12th & Broad platform.
Stivender has served as programming and communications chairwoman for the Nashville chapter of the American Marketing Association, and she serves on the Chick History board of directors as vice president. Stivender is also on the steering committee of the Nashville Technology Council’s analytics peer group. Stivender was the 2016 University of Tennessee Alumna of the Year, and she is a Pulitzer Prize finalist for breaking news. In 2015, she was named Gannett’s Innovator of the Year.
Stivender graduated summa cum laude from the University of Tennessee, where she majored in journalism and was the 1999 Ernie Pyle Award winner for Journalism Student of the Year.

Southern Land Company has announced the hiring of Marty Posthauer as President of Commercial Construction.
Posthauer was identified after a national search to fill the strategically important role for the company during a time where it has increased development and expanded its national project footprint. In the role, Posthauer will oversee all construction operations for each project including, project executives, construction managers, engineers and estimators specializing in high-rise and mixed-use development.
Posthauer will work to ensure the company’s high-end internal capabilities shine bright through the construction process and in the completed product.
Posthauer brings with him more than 30 years of experience to the position, including management of significant projects in the commercial and residential sectors. Before joining Southern Land Company, he was a Senior Vice President of Construction focused on mixed-use residential developments, completing numerous projects valued at over $400 million in this position. He also previously served as President and CEO of Tauer, LLC and TCR SE construction.
Beyond high-rises, he has managed construction of more than $3 billion in multifamily, midrise and mixed-use projects throughout the country. This equates to over 100 projects and 30,000 living units in total.
Posthauer graduated with honors from Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Building Construction Technology.

Tennessee Bank & Trust announced today that it has hired a new senior vice president of commercial banking, Hobbs Yarbrough. Yarbrough has worked in the finance industry for over 20 years and has broad experience in commercial banking, real estate finance, risk management, land acquisition and more. Prior to joining Tennessee Bank & Trust, he served as vice president of Regions Bank’s Wealth Management’s Institutional Services division. There he worked with many of the bank’s largest clients across the continental U.S., most of whom were part of the specialty banking groups of corporate real estate, healthcare and corporate banking. He developed asset management strategies for clients that focused on captive insurance assets, fiduciary consulting for retirement plans and cash management. In his new role with Tennessee Bank & Trust, Yarbrough will utilize his unique and extensive background to provide financial services and support to the bank’s existing client base and cultivate new business relationships.
Yarbrough earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Georgia and is also a licensed insurance agent in the state of Tennessee. As a Green Hills resident, he is very involved in his community. Yarbrough is a member of the Downtown Nashville Rotary Club, serves as a board member of the Green Hills YMCA and is a deacon at First Presbyterian Church.
