Brentwood Services Inc. (BSI) recently appointed Jason Tucker to the position of senior accountant in the Accounting Department, ac- cording to Jeff Pettus, chief operating officer of Brentwood Services Inc..
Tucker is responsible for compiling, analyzing, and preparing financial information and reports to maintain the fiscal standards of the organization duties, under the leadership of Jenna McCarty, accounting supervisor.
Prior to joining BSI, through Randstad in Franklin, Tenn., Tucker served as an accountant for various companies.
Tucker earned his bachelor of science and masters of accountancy degrees from Southern New Hampshire University in Manchester, N.H. Brentwood Services Inc. is an independent employee-owned company headquartered in Brentwood, specializing over the past 27 years in structuring and managing alternative market solutions for employers and insurance providers.

Communities In Schools of Tennessee, the local affiliate of the nation’s largest dropout-prevention network, has hired Allison D’Aurora as the organization’s state/Nashville program director.
As the Nashville program director, D’Aurora will be responsible for coordinating, developing and sustaining CISTN activities and operations. Her primary roles include implementing and monitoring school development programs, and leading community and operational oversight. Most recently, D’Aurora was the community engagement coordinator for Metro Nashville Public Schools, where she built partnerships between senior leadership and various stakeholders through community-focused public events. Previously, D’Aurora worked as a community engagement coordinator for the District of Columbia Public Schools and as a project coordinator for Youth Development Programs in the Washington, D.C., metro area. D’Aurora earned a B.A. degree in journalism from The Ohio State University. In the spring of 2017, she graduated from the Nashville Young Leaders Council. Her professional affiliations include the Nashville Young Leaders Council, serving on the board of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Middle Tennessee, The Branch, an immigrant and refugee organization in South Nashville, and Junior League of Nashville.

Messer Construction Co. is pleased to announce Adam Laker and Dan Jones as project executives, who both formerly served as senior project managers.
Laker currently leads the Brown Forman Corporation Jack Daniel’s Homeplace Improvement project. This renovation includes a new visitor center, tasting room, bottling space, revamped tour paths, renovation of the Barrel House 1-14 and more.
Laker’s project experience includes several higher education projects, including the expansion of Motlow State Community College’s Smyrna Center, Middle Tennessee State University Student Union and Nashville State Community College.
Beginning his career in the Dayton, Ohio region in 2006, Laker was hired by Messer as a project engineer where he was involved in both the CareSource and the Mount Pleasant Assisted Living projects. In 2009, Laker moved to the Nashville region as a project manager and was promoted to senior project manager in 2014.
Outside of work, Laker enjoys community engagement and volunteering with the American Red Cross. mMost recently, Jones has lead the Metro Nashville Police Department Headquarters and Family Justice Center projects in Nashville. The new headquarters, set to open next spring, is a four-story, 120,000 square-foot structure located on Murfreesboro Pike. Adjacent to the headquarters, the Family Justice Center is expected to exceed 75,000 square feet. His project experience includes several Metro Government of Nashville & Davidson County projects, including six Nashville Fire Department Stations, Nashville Public Library Bellevue Branch, Metro Nashville Police Department Headquarters and Family Justice Center.
Jones steps into this role with more than 15 years of experience with Messer Construction Co. Upon his promotion to project executive for the Nashville region, Jones has served in several capacities in the Cincinnati, Lexington and Nashville regions after beginning his career in 2001 as a co-op. His community involvement includes projects with Volunteers of America and Habitat for Humanity.

Young joins the Intellectual Property & Technology Service Group. She earned her J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School in 2017 and her Ph.D. in Pharmacology from Vanderbilt University in 2013. Young has served as a technical advisor for Stites & Harbison’s Intellectual Property & Technology Service Group, 2015-17. Prior to joining the firm, she served as a law clerk for Vanderbilt Office of the General Council (summer 2015), a Pharmacology Research Fellow at Vanderbilt University Medical Center (2013-14), and an intern for Vanderbilt University Center for Technology Transfer & Commercialization (2012-13). She is admitted to practice in Tennessee.
