Jacob Brooks has joined Barge, Waggoner, Sumner and Cannon, Inc., as Staff Engineer.
Brooks was previously with the Tennessee Department of Transportation where his experience included roadway design and resurfacing projects and road safety audits. He has worked with the Tennessee Tech University civil engineering department to mentor students during their semester-long senior design projects.
Brooks earned his Bachelor of Science degree in civil and environmental engineering with an emphasis on transportation from Tennessee Tech University. He is a registered Professional Engineer in Tennessee and North Carolina. Brooks is affiliated with the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and American Society of Highway Engineers (ASHE), where he served as treasurer from 2016 to 2017.
An active participant in the community, Brooks lives in Franklin and is involved with Oak Valley Baptist Church. He also volunteers annually at local running events including the Hillbilly Half Marathon and the Music City Marathon.
Drew Hardison has joined the company as Civil Engineer.
Hardison was previously a project engineer at Civic Engineering and Information Technologies, Inc. His experience includes emphasis on utility coordination, project cost estimates, and quality assurance/quality control that spans multiple engineering disciplines: water resources, transportation, and structural.
He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in civil and environmental engineering from Tennessee Technological University. Hardison is a registered Professional Engineer in Tennessee and Kentucky.
Hardison serves as a deacon for Long Hollow Baptist Church and has volunteered with Youth Encouragement Services (Y.E.S.) in Nashville.

Prior to joining Bass, Berry & Sims, Climo served as a law clerk to the Honorable Gilbert S. Merritt, Jr. of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. He earned his J.D. from Vanderbilt Law School (2016) and a B.A. from Vanderbilt University (2011).
Elaine C. Naughton provides healthcare regulatory counsel as it relates to compliance, operational and transactional matters. Prior to joining Bass, Berry & Sims, Naughton served as a law clerk to the Honorable David J. Hale of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Kentucky. Naughton earned her J.D. from the University of Kentucky College of Law (2016) and a B.A. from the University of Chicago (2013).
Brianna R. Powell provides healthcare regulatory counsel as it relates to compliance, operational and transactional matters. Prior to joining Bass, Berry & Sims, Powell served as a law clerk to the Honorable Julia Smith Gibbons of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit and to the Honorable Bernice Bouie Donald for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. Powell earned her J.D. from the University of Tennessee College of Law (2015) and a B.S. from Loyola University (2011).
Taylor M. Sample represents clients in government actions, investigations and related litigation, particularly involving the False Claims Act, Stark Law and Anti-Kickback Statute. Prior to joining Bass, Berry & Sims, Sample served as a law clerk to the Honorable Sarah Evans Barker of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana. Sample earned his J.D. from Indiana University Maurer School of Law (2015) and a B.A. from Lipscomb University (2011).
Tyler H. Wadlington counsels clients on corporate and securities issues including mergers and acquisitions, capital markets transactions, and securities regulations matters and filings. Prior to joining Bass, Berry & Sims, Wadlington served as a law clerk to the Honor- able Eric G. Bruggink of the U.S. Court of Federal Claims. Wadlington earned his J.D. from the University of Alabama School of Law (2016) and a B.S. from the University of Tennessee (2012).
MP&F Public Relations
Jennifer Brantley, a 25-year communications veteran, has been named a partner at MP&F Public Relations.
Brantley began her career at MP&F as a student intern, working her way to the position of senior vice president, a title she has held since 2011.
The McMinnville native graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a bachelor’s degree in public relations. During her tenure at MP&F, she has worked with a variety of clients, including BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee, West Tennessee Healthcare, Colonial Pipeline and national home décor retailer Kirkland’s.
Brantley says she is looking forward to the challenge.
In addition to Fox, the other partners are Katy Varney, Keith Miles, Alice Chapman and founder Mark McNeely.
Brantley and her husband, Vance, have two children – Robert and Rachel.

Benson comes from a customer relationship background, working as both in Occupational Therapy and as a Doula or Birthing Coach. She loves working with people and helping them achieve their goals.
After her own experience buying a home and some encouragement from family, she decided to make the leap into real estate. Though her previous professions have been fulfilling and enlightening, she’s eager to use her communication skills to help her clients through one of the biggest transactions in their lives.

Benson is married and has two children. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, gardening, working out, hiking, and spending time outside.

O’Sullivan received his Bachelor of Science in Political Economies of In- dustrial Societies from the University of California at Berkeley. He comes to the real estate industry after spending fourdecades in marketing and management in the music industry in Los Angeles, New York, and Nashville.
Throughout his career, he has bought and sold homes in several states, and his experience helped him decide on a career change to real estate. He loves the process of finding properties that fit a buyer’s goals and personal needs.
He chose to join Parks after meeting with Parks on Main’s Managing Broker Danny Anderson.
In addition to being a real estate agent, O’Sullivan is still very involved in the music industry and his community. He is an on-air personality at WMOT – Roots Radio, Middle Tennessee’s full-time Americana station, is on the Americana Music Association’s Executive Committee of Board of Directors, and serves on the Franklin Theater’s Board of Governors.

Price CPAs, PLLC has welcomed Cole Klippenstein to its professional staff as an accountant.
Klippenstein joined the firm in September and is already fully engaged in client service. He is a recent Magna Cum Laude graduate of the University of Southern Maine with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a minor in Finance.
While attending college, Klippenstein was active in building experience beyond the classroom. He served an internship at Price CPAs, as well as owned and managed a small business, and was a Client Data Specialist for UNUM. He has been, and remains, involved in charity work for such organizations as Camp Barnabas, the Nashville Soup Kitchen and the United Methodist Church. Klippenstein is also an accomplished hockey player. He played on the University of Southern Maine hockey team and was named to the NCAA All-Rookie Men’s Hockey Team recognized as an ECAC All-Conference Student Athlete. He attended high school at Brentwood Academy.
