While water line installation will continue along Lebanon Road in the grass median area between Jackson Downs Drive and Jackson Downs Boulevard, both the two westbound lanes (going into downtown) and eastbound lanes (going out of town) will be open starting from Noon on Thursday, April 13th to Midnight Sunday, April 16th for TDOT holiday schedule, before returning on the 17th to a single lane that is being closed during non-rush hour times.

Until the holiday, crews will continue to work 24 hours per day and 7 days per week. Additionally, the center median turn arounds will be temporarily closed while the new pipeline is installed. These will be reopened as soon as the pipe installation is complete and the road is repaved.

Work in McGavock Pike is also continuing. McGavock Pike will remain closed from Elm Hill Pike to Lakeland Drive. Motorists are asked to follow traffic detour at Lakeland Drive and Emery Drive.

Also, the first phase of work installing a new 60-inch gate valve in Elm Hill Pike is complete and the westbound lanes in Elm Hill Pike are back open. McGavock Pike is anticipated to be reopened by the end of April.

Work in Donelson Pike has also begun. Crews are relocating an existing 12-inch water line between Nodyne Drive and Lakeland Drive as well as a 4-inch gas main in Donelson Pike between Woodberry Drive and Bluefield Ave. These utilities are being relocated to make room for the new 60-inch water line. Planned temporary water outages will occur. Affected individuals will receive notice in advance. These short outages will take place between 10 PM and 5 AM. Expect lane closures in Donelson Pike, a single northbound lane and southbound lane will remain open during construction.

Installation of 60-inch pipe has begun in Nodyne Drive at Donelson Pike. Nodyne Drive is closed from Donelson Pike to Heney Drive. Old Donelson Pike is closed from Nodyne Drive to Old Elm Hill Pike. Use Wellman Drive as a detour.
